There’s a version of this story where Conscious Home started as a business plan. A gap in the market, a strategy deck, a launch date on a calendar. That’s not what happened.
Conscious Home was born out of a breakdown. Specifically, Blanche Garcia’s, in 2020, in the middle of new motherhood, in the middle of a pandemic, in the middle of losing every system that had quietly been holding her together for years.
In our new founder video, Blanche sits down to talk through the whole story: why she built Conscious Home, what it actually means to treat your home as a living energetic system, and what’s coming next with our first product, Antara.
Blanche didn’t set out to build a wellness brand. She’d already spent thirty years as an interior designer, working with clients at some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives, helping them build homes that felt like them.
Then in 2020, everything she’d quietly relied on to hold her own life together- meditation, time in nature, the rituals she never even thought to name- fell away under the weight of new motherhood and a world in crisis. What followed was what she now calls a spiritual awakening, and it forced a question she couldn’t ignore.
“What if I put this into a system? What if it wasn’t just helping me? What if I could take my thirty years of design knowledge, mix it into my woo-woo, my spiritual, my mystical, and put together the system that I’m already doing for myself, but for others?”
That question became Conscious Home.
At the center of Conscious Home is a belief that shapes everything, from the archetypes to the products themselves: your home is not a neutral backdrop. It’s an active, living system of energy, and every object, color, and corner in it is either working for you or against you, whether you’ve noticed or not.
This is where conscious living and interior design actually meet. Not mood boards and matching palettes, but real, felt experience- the reason a well-designed room can make you exhale the second you walk in, even before you know why.
Spirituality can be intimidating when it’s presented as one big, abstract idea. Conscious Home takes a different approach, breaking that ethos down into six archetypes, each representing a different emotional and energetic need, and giving each one its own language, colors, mantras, and rituals.
The idea is simple: you’re not one fixed identity. You’re a set of shifting needs, and what you’re craving at any given moment- grounding, joy, love, momentum, peace, abundance- deserves to be named so you can actually address it, instead of wandering your own home unsure of what’s missing.
Not sure which archetype you’re in right now?
Antara, Sanskrit for the space in between, is Conscious Home’s first product, an intention deck built from Blanche’s own spiritual practice, thirty years of design experience, and months of meditation and channel work.
Unlike most decks on the market, Antara isn’t styled in the pastel-and-crystal aesthetic of typical spiritual products, nor the beige-and-plant palette common to wellness brands.
Each of the deck’s six archetypes has its own color, mantra, and hand-drawn sigil, a personal symbol Blanche created and debossed into each card to mark intention. A companion booklet works almost like a dictionary, helping you understand the signs and synchronicities that show up in your life once you start paying attention.
It’s designed to be a beautiful, functional entry point into a daily practice, not a one-time pull-a-card-and-forget-it experience, but an actual, evolving conversation with your own intuition.
Antara is the first of several products in development, each one building on the same foundation: home as portal, ritual as practice, color and object as language. Conscious Home is being built slowly, intentionally, and independently- no outside backing, no shortcuts, just Blanche and a growing community building this from the ground up.
